President Biden’s policies have given our country a solid job market and many economic indicators show that our economy remains strong.  Unfortunately, continuing high prices coupled with high housing and insurance costs are leaving many Floridians and Americans in a very tough financial situation.   Rick Scott and the Republican leadership seem to be blind to this economic threat.

While Wall Street becomes rich, many hard-working Americans and families cannot make ends meet, or are stretched to the limit, spending everything they have each month.  High prices for food, fuel and rent are causing stress and hardship on many families and workers.  New cars, appliances, and housing repairs become an impossible dream for many Floridians.

As your Senator, Brian Rush will work to restore the financial strength of Middle Class America and protect the hard-working families and individuals that contribute so much to our country.

Brian Rush will fight to reduce the Federal Deficit and lower prices by eliminating many of the unfair tax loopholes the Republican leadership provides to very wealthy citizens and rich corporations.  The 2024 national debt exceeds 35 trillion dollars, and the annual interest on this debt will soon reach 1 trillion dollars.  This interest is a tremendous burden on America which we must pay every single year, robbing hard-working Americans and our nation of the resources we need to live and prosper.

Brian Rush will also work to ensure that men and women alike are able to earn a living wage, and that Affordable Housing is a reality, through smart private/government partnerships that create simple, but safe homes for young workers and retired adults to own and enjoy through their lifetimes.
